SUSAN
Susan Alicia is a shamanic practitioner, energy healer, and ceremonial guide based in Charlottesville, Virginia, working with private clients and small groups, in-person and distance. Her work draws on ceremony, sound, prayer, and the elements to help people quiet the noise around them and listen more closely to what's already within them.

Susan brings warmth, steadiness, and a deep sense of presence to everything she holds. She meets people with care, curiosity, and respect for their own inner knowing. There is softness in the way she works, along with a grounded clarity that helps people feel safe enough to open, receive, and simply be where they are.
her Essence
Susan’s relationship with this work has been shaped over more than 25 years of personal healing, spiritual practice, and professional training. Loss entered her life early and grief became one of the first great teachers of how much can live beneath the surface of a life. Over the years, Reiki, shamanic practice, ceremony, sound, and the elements became part of the way she learned to meet what could not always be explained or carried through words alone. What began as her own path of healing gradually became the work she now holds for others.
her Story
In session and in ceremony, Susan works with sound, breath, prayer, the elements, and intuitive guidance. She may use drum, rattle, bowls, voice, touch, or stillness depending on what the moment calls for. There is no fixed sequence to follow. Susan listens closely, works responsively, and allows each session to take its own shape.
her Method
I care a lot about how people feel when they’re with me. Creating room for honesty, humor, quiet, questions, tears, curiosity, and whatever else happens to be true that day is very important to me. I don’t expect you to arrive knowing what you need or having the right language for it. We can begin with what’s here. I’ll meet you there, and we’ll see what opens.
